1. Who we are
IndustU LLC ("IndustU", "we", "us") is a Missouri limited liability company doing business as Tree 360. You can reach us at support@industu.com.
2. Two different roles, and why it matters to you
We handle information in two distinct ways, and your rights depend on which one applies:
- As the business. When a trade company buys Tree 360, we collect information about that company and the people who sign in. We decide how that information is used, and this policy governs it.
- As the software. Our customers — the trade companies — put their own records into Tree 360: their customers, addresses, job notes, photos. That information belongs to them, not to us. We hold and process it on their instructions so the software works. We do not sell it, mine it, or use it to market anything.
If you are a homeowner and a tree company holds your details in Tree 360, the company you hired is the one to contact about that information. We will help them respond, but the record is theirs.
3. What we collect
Account and staff information
Name, email address, phone number, job role, and the company you belong to. We use it to sign you in, to set what you are allowed to see, and to contact you about the service.
Business records our customers enter
Customer names and contact details, job site addresses, bids and prices, job notes, job photographs, scheduling, time worked, equipment records and invoices.
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems. We keep the fact of a payment — amount, date, status, and Stripe's reference for it — so an invoice can be marked paid.
Location
Tree 360 can record a crew member's approximate location while the app is open during working hours, so the office can see where crews are during the day. It is not continuous background tracking, it does not run outside working hours, and it is a setting the employing company controls. Job site addresses are also converted to map coordinates so jobs can be shown on a map.
Device and usage information
IP address, browser and device type, pages and screens used, and error logs. We use this to keep the service running and to work out what broke.
What we deliberately do not collect
We do not store Social Security numbers. Payroll in Tree 360 is built so that an SSN never needs to be entered. We also do not collect biometric identifiers for identification, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
4. Text messages
Tree 360 sends text messages on behalf of the trade companies that use it — quotes, appointment reminders, "we're on our way", and invoice notices. Messages are sent only to people who have given that company consent to text them. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent is not shared with any third party, except with the messaging carriers and providers strictly required to deliver the message you asked for.
5. How we use information
- To provide, operate and repair the service
- To sign people in and enforce what each role may see
- To send messages and documents that a customer or their company asked us to send
- To bill for the service and collect payment
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use our customers' business records to train machine-learning models.
6. Who else touches it
We use a small number of service providers to run the software. They may only handle information to perform work for us:

This list changes as the product changes. The current list is available on request. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a buyer in connection with a sale of the business — in which case this policy continues to apply to information transferred.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use only what the service needs to work: a sign-in session, and storage on your own device that lets the app keep working without a signal and finish what you started when the signal comes back. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run third-party trackers.
8. How long we keep it
Account information is kept while the account is open. Business records entered by a customer company are kept for as long as that company's subscription runs, and are deleted or returned on request after it ends — see the Terms of Service for how that works. Records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons are kept for as long as the law requires.
9. Security
Access is controlled by role, so people see what their job needs and not the rest. Information is encrypted in transit, and payment credentials never reach our systems. Each customer company's records are separated from every other company's. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your information we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, and not to be discriminated against for asking. To exercise any of these, email support@industu.com.
If your information is in Tree 360 because you did business with a trade company, we will pass your request to that company, because the record is theirs to act on.
11. Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information, and will delete it if we learn we have.
12. Where information is held
Information is stored and processed in the United States.
13. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will tell account holders by email.
